How I pick these deals
I only list a deal when the store itself shows a lower price than its original price, and the item is in stock in at least one size when I check. I don't list "deals" that are just regular prices, and I don't make up discounts. The percentage shown is calculated from the store's own original and sale prices.
I look for pieces that work for modest, elegant outfits: longer hemlines, sleeves or easy layering, quality fabrics, and shoes you can walk in. If you're not sure whether something is good quality, my quality guide walks through what to check.
Tips for shopping sales
- Check the return policy. Final-sale items usually can't be returned.
- Know your measurements. Compare the length listed on the product page with a skirt or dress you already own.
- Think cost per wear. A well-made piece you wear every week is a better deal than a cheap one you wear once.
- Shop your gaps. Buy what your capsule wardrobe is missing, not just what is discounted.
